‘Plein Air Smokies,’ once again brings 20 nationally acclaimed artists to paint “en plein air” (outdoors) throughout the national park. Artists will be positioned across the park throughout the week, with locations such as Cades Cove on Monday and Elkmont on Tuesday and Wednesday.

New England's premier outdoor painting festival held in the scenic Cape Ann region of Massachusetts. Featuring 35 renowned artists capturing the area's landscapes and coastal views, the 7-day event in early October includes gallery walks, artist demonstrations, and a gala awards ceremony. The offers opportunities for the public to watch artists paint on location and purchase their works.

The 12th annual exhibition, frequently noted as one of the most outstanding summer art shows in the United States. Approximately 100 outstanding watercolor paintings from across the United States will compete for monetary and merchandise awards.

Perkins Cove is considered the birthplace of the Ogunquit Art Colony. Held annually in Perkins Cove, a picturesque harbor area that has long been a hub for artists in Ogunquit, the Perkins Cove Plein Air Painting Event is a celebration of the art and history of Ogunquit, Maine, centered around the tradition of outdoor landscape painting.
